Job Posting – Veterinarian

Located in the heart of downtown Kincardine, Queen Street Veterinary Services is the newest full-service veterinary hospital committed to providing the best possible animal care. We take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their owners and we are currently looking for a Veterinarian who exemplifies those same standards to join our team!

This individual will utilize expert knowledge to care for the health of our patients and advise their owners on the best possible course of treatment on a case by case basis. The Associate Veterinarian has the ultimate responsibility to ensure that patients are attended to in a timely, compassionate an efficient manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: examination, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions; performance of various surgical procedures; vaccinations; advising animal owners about general care, medical conditions and treatments; prescribe medicinal and non-medicinal treatment; euthanasia, on call shifts are required as well as other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include: minimum three years’ experience as a small animal Associate DVM is preferred; license in good standing with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario is required; the Associate DVM must possess the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work on their feet the majority of the work day.
